Moving locations is certainly an erroneous task, although working with the Danks Team made my role a lot easier.  I am pleased to say that during the relocation we only lost a half-day trading and in fact were able to increase our sales by 10% for that period against the year before.  Since moving and establishing a store with the latest in store development ideas my business trading has improved dramatically.

Rusty pointing‘Our Home Store has been using DART since we opened in August 2003. Prior to this I have 15 years exposure to numerous forms of software programs.    

Our seventeen staff where able to easily learn and use the DART Point of Sale System within a days training. We now are able to quickly process 360 customer transactions on average per day. DART has seen 488 transactions on our busiest days.  

DART has proven to be a complete integrated system from back office to point of sale. It also has the key advantage of being able to integrate with Danks through an easy to use web based Dankslink application. We send Orders, Credits, Margin Management directly to Danks from DART.  DART Automatic Ordering has proven to be a powerful tool in reducing our out of stocks and increasing stock turns within our 20,000+ line store. It has dramatically reduced time and cost of producing accurate orders, and helped identify dead stock that consumes valuable shelf space. Our twice weekly order of 800 plus lines can be created in 15 minutes, and we have fewer than 200 out of stocks across the store.

DART has dramatically reduced the costs involved in administering our 557 Trade accounts by allowing us to email invoices, quotes and statements immediately to our customers. This automated process has reduced the time required to produce statements as well as reduced the time for debtors to pay their accounts.

I can safely say that DART has been able to expand and grow with our business, it has adapted to changing trends and our business requirements.’
