Whilst Home Timber and Hardware’s pricing is competitive, its primary objective is to provide friendly, personal service by staff with the in-depth PROPER knowledge necessary to provide expert advice for projects inside and outside the home.

Home Timber and Hardware TV campaigns feature its presenters, Rusty & Sandy, a pair of animated dogs who also appear in the Home Timber and Hardware ´Dogalogues´.

In 2007 the stores launched a new brand positioning: Home Timber and Hardware, The Proper Hardware store. This was designed to create a strong and differentiating message about the dependable, approachable and experienced nature of Home Timber and Hardware store owners and their staff.
